Pastor Luis and Cynthia are the founding Pastors of A Place of Mercy. They have been in ministry, for over 35 years, and served at multiple churches before starting this church in 2007. For over 16 years, they have been faithful in teaching, preaching, and encouraging all who come through our doors. They love Jesus and have a heart to serve his children by extending mercy to those in need.

Our church was founded 16 years ago in Modesto, Ca. Since the beginning of this ministry we have always worked to provide a place where people can find rest and hope in Jesus. At A Place of Mercy, we believe that God created us with a purpose. We are not just a church, we are a family. We worship together, encourage one another, and even cry with each other. Our mission is to restore the broken and reconcile them back to Jesus. If you have been searching, for a place to belong, you just found it.
